You control the local data

WalkAway has no user account or server-side copy of your alarms. Alarm configurations, challenge data, history, and preferences are stored in the app's local storage on your device.

Delete one alarm

  1. Open WalkAway and select the Alarms tab.
  2. Swipe left on the alarm.
  3. Tap Delete and confirm.

This cancels that alarm's app schedule and removes its configuration, including its saved voice phrase, NFC identifier, or numeric object descriptors. Existing history entries are not removed.

Clear alarms and history

  1. Open Settings in WalkAway.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone.
  3. Choose Clear All Data.
  4. Read the warning and confirm.

Despite the control's broad name, the current implementation removes saved alarms and alarm history and cancels their schedules. It does not reset theme, haptics, Strict Mode settings, or onboarding status.

Remove every app setting

To remove alarms, history, preferences, onboarding status, and other app-container data, delete/reset WalkAway's app data using your operating system or uninstall WalkAway. Uninstalling also revokes its permissions. Exact controls vary by iOS or Android version.

Backups and shared files

An iCloud, Google, computer, or device backup may retain an older copy under your backup settings; manage those copies through the applicable provider. A QR PNG that you deliberately shared is controlled by the destination you selected and must be deleted there separately.

Deletion is permanent

WalkAway has no recycle bin or cloud backup. Once local data is deleted and no device backup exists, CoreByte Studio cannot access or restore it.

Privacy requests

Because we do not hold in-app data on a server, we cannot remotely erase it. For questions about support correspondence or applicable privacy rights, email walkaway@corebytestudio.com.
